Making it’s mainstream shopping debut, just in time for Father’s Day, the Kindle will begin appearing in all Target stores this Sunday, June 6th.  The Kindle will sell for $259, the same price as on Amazon.com.  Their debut at Target will allow the Kindle to compete with Barnes & Noble’s Nook reader, which also goes for $259.
